Booking Policies and Fees

1. Curation Fee (Planning & Coordination Fee)

 

Kindly let us know your preferred experience, desired date, number of guests, and any specific requests (e.g., special performances or arrangements). No fees are charged at this initial stage, so please do not hesitate to reach out.

 

Once the curation fee of ¥22,000 (tax included) has been received, we will begin the coordination of your premium cultural experience with our trusted cultural partners.

This fee is non-refundable, but it will be fully applied toward the final booking amount if the reservation is confirmed.

 

※ Basic inquiries regarding tour content and availability are, of course, free of charge. Feel free to contact us anytime.

2. Cancellation Policy

 

All of our premium experiences—such as Geisha entertainment, private sessions with master artisans, and exclusive cultural programs—are individually arranged "special experiences" that require advance coordination with our cultural partners.

 

Accordingly, the following cancellation policy applies:

​

• A reservation is considered confirmed either when full payment is received or when an official confirmation notice is issued by us, depending on the nature of the agreement.

• Once confirmed, a 100% cancellation fee will apply, regardless of the reason, including illness, weather, transportation delays, or natural disasters.

• By proceeding with your booking, you are deemed to have accepted this cancellation policy.

 

※ This cancellation policy applies specifically to the premium experiences offered under our brand Kagurazaka Refined Wander (www.kagurazaka-gayu.com). Different policies apply for FIT-oriented experiences provided by our other brand, Ninja Kotan Travel (www.ninjakotan-travel.com).

3. Payment Policy

 

You are responsible for the timely payment of all fees and for providing EDO KAGURA Corporation with a valid payment method.

• Payment will be made by credit card.

• Once payment is made, please send us proof of payment via email so we can promptly confirm your booking.

• Please make payment by the deadline indicated on the invoice.

• The total price will include the curation fee, the cost of all selected experiences, and any applicable taxes or service fees.

• Please note that the customer is responsible for any credit card processing fees required for the payment.

 

Failure to make payment by the deadline may result in the cancellation of your reservation.

4. Quote Validity / Booking Deadline

​

• Availability and pricing are valid for 7 days from the date of our proposal.

• To secure your experience, we kindly ask that you confirm your reservation within this period.

• After 7 days, the availability and quoted terms may no longer be guaranteed.
